For the fourth consecutive year, the NW Group has been selected for French Tech’s Next40 list. Launched in 2019, theFrench Tech Next40/120 has established itself as the leading program for identifying and supporting France’s future technology leaders. A selection of 40 French companies “that best embody technological excellence in the service of the public interest; those whose dynamism contributes significantly to the economy’s competitiveness and to improving citizens’ lives. ”
The NW Group’s selection for the FT Next40 allows it to benefit from individualized support on issues related to the French government—including relations with government agencies and ministries—and fosters its business development with both private and public sector stakeholders.
Selected for its contribution to French technological excellence and France’s digital sovereignty, the NW Group highlighted in its application its expertise in the critical technologies at the heart of the power system. With a team of technical specialists accounting for nearly one-third of its total workforce, the NW Group designs, develops, and manages technological components and software that are essential to the operation of its own energy infrastructure. Its competitive advantage rests on a deeply integrated and proprietary model. The company thereby reduces its exposure to foreign technologies in sensitive areas of the French power system.
NW is also committed to a continuous cycle of innovation, evidenced by the regular filing of patents and sustained R&D efforts, notably through several new product projects aimed at diversifying the uses of energy storage and making it more accessible to as many people as possible.
Finally, NW contributes to industrial and energy sovereignty by offering storage solutions designed and, in part, assembled in France, which are fully aligned with the priorities of France 2030 and the European sovereignty strategy.
“By combining software expertise, continuous innovation, and a strong industrial presence, NW positions itself as a key technology player supporting French and European strategic autonomy,” said Jean-Christophe Kerdelhué, Chief Executive Officer of the group.
